CALLING ALL BARBARIANS!
The Bay Area Barbarians of Marinette and Menominee Counties have begun our open practices and are set to begin the competitive season on Monday, April 11th against The Green Bay Mavericks.
Preparing for this match has been a constant uphill battle vs. mother nature, but that's typical of the game, and our players have responded well to the adverse conditions that saw us forced to cancel one practice and hold a weeks worth of practices on a tiny 15 x 40 meter piece of grass the players cleared with snow-shovels.
Our practices are open in format, meaning we accept new players throughout the season. If you are interested, please fill out an insurance form and join us for at practice at Lauerman Field in Marinette, behind the Middle School on Water Street.
